Mini Golfing with a Toddler

We went mini golfing recently in Cody.  Bubs wasn't into golfing much.  Well, she liked the ball and throwing it and dropping it in holes (although she stopped that after a while because she had to get down on her hands and knees to get it back out again).  She also liked climbing up the little hills and valleys and putting the ball into the little houses and other things and watching it roll out again. It was a good thing no one else was golfing with us because she was at least a couple holes behind or ahead the whole time.  The only thing she wasn't a fan of was hitting the ball with the club.  She did it on her own maybe once and after a couple of holes we stopped trying to help her.  We did our thing, she did hers and we were all happy.

There was also music playing over some speakers and, not one to pass up an opportunity, Bubs decided to get her groove on.  Ok, we might have encouraged her a little, but it is so cute we just couldn't help ourselves.  Here is the result.

Winter Pics

We had 60 degree weather on Friday and a snowstorm Sunday.  In honor of that snowstorm, I'm going to post pictures we took this winter of Bubsy in her snowsuit.

My Aunt Ella sent us this snowsuit with a lot of other baby stuff (thanks again Aunt Ella!) when Aubrey was born but she is just now fitting into it.  It was great because she didn't get her hands wet and cold when she fell down and she was really warm.  And the fact that she looked like a total marshmallow didn't hurt either. :)

Here is a video of her on the swing at her Kelley grandparents house.  By the way, in Bubsy talk anything that you can swing on or slide down is called a Whee!

Outings

It maybe pretty cold up here in Wyoming but we do manage to get out every once in a while.  The first trip was back on a warm day in January I think.  We decided to go fossil hunting, which I call hiking because I've never found anything, but Sage sometimes does so he still calls it fossil hunting.

If Bubs looks cold, it is because she is.  We let her get out after a while and she warmed up and had a blast and then refused to get back in the carrier.

We found this on this trip.  Kinda gross but it means that wildlife exists out here in Wyoming, right?

Here is a picture of the scenery, pretty in a dirt-y kinda way.

Just to prove that there are fossils to be found, here is a picture of some stuff that Sage's family has found up here.  The star shaped rocks are the fossilized remains of a plant stem and the other two are fossilized teeth, an incisor and a molar.

Here is a bigger incisor and a bigger molar.

Tiny Dancer

Lately Bubsy has been breaking out her dance moves.  This first video shows off some of her more aerobic dance moves.  The music is Pizza Angel, a Silly Song with Larry from a Veggie Tale movie, I can't remember which one.

This is one when we were playing Enya and classical for her.  She decided a ballerina style was appropriate this song selection.  This dancing went on for a lot longer, but I got the camera out at the end of her performance and she was a little dizzy at this point.

Those of you who are observant might have noticed the setting for these two videos is different.  That is because we moved!  We moved back to Wyoming after all these years in Utah.  Sage is starting a business up here with his brother.   I think I'd forgotten how windy Wyoming is, but it is nice to be closer to family.
